Butterflies and Keys Hair Sticks

They’re baaaack! Returning to the lineup are these fancy filigree butterfly and key hair sticks. These lightweight wooden hair sticks shine with 3.4″/8.7cm dangles made from keys, filigree bits, and nifty shiny metal butterflies. Each stick weighs 7 or 8 grams–about the weight of a nickel plus a penny.

These sticks are sold in pairs. (One will hold a bun up, but two will hold better!)

These are all shorter sticks, ranging from about 5.5″/14cm to about 6″/15cm. Shorter sticks work well if you have thin or fine hair and prefer to twist your hair up with the stick itself. They’ve got tapered ends, so they help tighten up a bun and thus make your updo hold more sturdily. They still work for longer or thicker hair too! Just put your hair up in a bun first and then put the stick through.
