beaded moth earrings

One set of colorful acrylic moth earrings, decorated with brass filigree and sparkling faceted glass beads.

These are really lightweight for their size! A single earring weighs 2.5g and a pair weighs in at 5g–so in total, the weight of a nickel.
They’re all different sizes:
–  Luna moth: just shy of 2″/5cm from wingtip to wingtip; 2.75″/7cm from top to bottom.
– Orange comet: 1.9″/4.7cm from wingtip to wingtip; 2.6″/4cm from top to bottom
–  Purple death’s head moth: 1.9″/4.7cm from wingtip to wingtip; 2.2″/5.3cm from top to bottom
– African death’s head moth (yes, the Silence of the Lambs moth): just shy of 2″/5cm from wingtip to wingtip; 2.4″/5.5cm from top to bottom

The luna and orange comet moths have skinny little tails, so be gentle to them!

These earrings are on surgical steel hooks. Surgical steel is usually hypoallergenic, but usually has a *small* amount of nickel in it–so if you’re really allergic to nickel, let me know and I can switch the hooks out for nickel-free silver-plated brass.
