Rainbow Butterflies and Coins Hair Sticks

Rainbow anodized butterflies, translucent flowers, sparkling beads, and tiny silvery coins make these hair sticks a mix of modern and traditional elements. These guys go great with kimono or cosplays.

These sticks are sold as a pair. The sticks weigh about 16 grams each, 32g a pair (or about the weight of six nickels) and are all 9″/23cm long. (I chose longer sticks because that helps to keep the moving bits off your head and out of your hair.) Each dangle is 63mm (or about 2.5″) long from top to bottom, and 1.5″ wide from wingtip to wingtip.

These particular sticks hold up well to heavier or curly hair, and have proven long enough to hold hair that’s past waist length. They’ll work for people with finer or shorter hair too, though! You just need to be able to make a twisty bun. The sticks are also sealed, so you can wear them in wet hair without worries.
