aw Heck.

Here we go again.

Q: What happened to your old site?
A: Long story. I’m working on it–and probably will be for the foreseeable future.

Q: I’m looking for _____, do you still have it?
A: Maybe? Let me know what it is–if I don’t have it on hand, I might still be able to make it.

Q: Why’s your logo a bat opossum?
A: First, their name is Sam, and Sam’s a dragon-opossum griffin.
How’d Sam happen, though? A few years ago, there was this meme going around about how technically a griffin could be a mashup of any critters–so while the popular variation from mythology was part lion/part eagle, all strong and noble and such, a griffin that would be absolutely terrifying would be part seagull, part raccoon: thumbs, crime, and 0% fear.
Sam, though? I relate to opossums: graying, eating garbage, low body temperature, occasionally playing dead to avoid responsibilities. So what if the emblem of this business was a little opossum . . . with a dragon’s tendency to collect shiny baubles? I commissioned Aaron of Manifested Dreams to turn this concept into reality, and suddenly, Sam.
